We have both full time and seasonal staff at Camp Impeesa. Our staff enjoy working with campers all summer long and take pride in teaching kids new skills.

Blake Edwards – Senior Program Coordinator

Camp Name: Oatmeal

Originally from the wind swept shores of Nova Scotia, Blake has worked at camps for over 15 years. During the year, he can be found planning programs, preparing for the upcoming summer and managing all things related to camp. During the summer he works alongside his camp staff team to create memories that last a lifetime.

 

Jim Taylor – Camp Ranger

JimCamp Name: Tracker

Jim is our go to guy for all things camp facilities, maintenance, and safety. If we need it built or fixed he can do it. Tracker lives at camp year round and is always working towards the next summer.

 

 

Debbie Sahara – Camp Cook

Camp Name: Mama

Our camp cook can be found turning out some of the best camp food you have ever had. Once camp opens she starts preparing for the upcoming summer creating nutritious and hearty meal plans, baking and cooking for our rentals and camp staff.

Hannah Harper – Assistant Program Coordinator

HannahCamp Name: Thistle

Hannah joins us for another exciting summer of adventure at Camp Impeesa. Coming in from Barrie, Ontario she brings her passion for the outdoors from her studies in Fish & Wildlife Management. When not teaching our campers about the wild things around camp she can be found supporting the program leader staff or planning programs for our residential summer camp.

 

Zoee Fenelon – Waterfront & Wellness Coordinator

ZoeeCamp Name: Turtle

Zoee is never far from the waters edge of Beaver Mines Lake. She is always excited and thrilled to be helping and teaching our campers about being safe near or on the water. Whether it’s out in a canoe working on paddling strokes or keeping watch of our swim area Zoee is there. Being from Calgary she spend her time at the pool keeping up her skills and swim fitness. She is trained in both the pool and waterfront environments giving her the specialized knowledge we always look for at camp.
